Self storage at Collect a Store is simple, secure, and convenient. Choose the unit size and location that suits you, sign your lease, and move in — often on the same day. You can change unit sizes whenever needed, and access is free of charge – note however, when downsizing – we need a calendar months’ notice.

Yes. Bring your ID or passport, and our staff will assist you with same‑day move‑in.

You’ll sign a lease agreement before moving in.

No problem, you can transfer to a different unit size at any time. Please note however, when downsizing – we need a calendar months’ notice. For example, if moving out at the end of March, notice must be given by no later than 4 March.

The units are approximately 2.8 meters high. You are welcome to come and view to measure and inspect the space.

The minimum rental period is one month, and there’s no maximum, stay as long as you need.

Yes. For safety reasons, the following items are not permitted:

• Hazardous or toxic goods
• Firearms, explosives, or ammunition
• Radioactive materials
• Living plants or animals
• Perishable food items
• Cash or securities
• Illegal goods
• Waste

Yes, we charge a once-off admin fee of R300.

Your first payment is due before move‑in. Rent is payable monthly in advance, via EFT or stop order. We also accept card payments, snap scan and master pass.

For the safety of customers and staff, Collect a Store does not accept cash. Payments are made via bank stop order, EFT, or card.

Yes, if your payment is later than the 4^th – you will be charged a penalty fee of R200.

Yes. Our facilities feature CCTV, access control, electric fencing, and secure entry systems.

Yes. We stock a wide range of packaging materials, available in‑store or online. Delivery options are also available.

Yes, free trolleys are available to help move larger items. Our passages are wide for easy access. Yes, we have industrial lifts.

Yes, for a quote to collect or deliver your goods, please provide the following information:

1. Inventory of goods to collect
2. Collection date
3. Collection address
4. Are there stairs/lifts
5. Can the truck get access onto the facility

After hour access only by prior arrangement during office hours.

• We require a filled in Lease Agreement copy of your ID as well as a proof of address prior to you leasing a store.
• We sell locks.
• We also sell packaging material.
• NO SMOKING ALLOWED on premises.
• Please familiarize yourself with our Disclaimer Boards.
• Please ask for assistance with goods hoist operation. Please switch common area LIGHTS OFF after use as we are trying to be more environmentally friendly.
• Any payments received after the 4th will result in a penalty fee which will be added onto your bill.
